My first experience in the energy distribution industry was driving a retail fuel delivery vehicle for an oil company in New Jersey when I was in college. After working in a variety
of industries, I founded ADD Systems in 1973 and developed one of the very first in-house systems for the fuel oil/petroleum industry.
In the beginning, ADD Systems offered a single software and hardware solution to petroleum distributors in the Northeastern United States. Through hard work, growth and acquisitions, we expanded our services, capabilities, and client base. Today, as one of the largest players in the industry, we provide a wide variety of flexible, comprehensive solutions to a broad base of energy distribution companies throughout the United States
and Canada.
I founded this company on three basic principles I have used when dealing with employees and customers through the years – be honest, be fair, and treat others, as you would
expect to be treated. Much has changed in this industry in the last 30+ years, but these principles still hold true and are the reason ADD Systems is still around today.
