Scott Wright brings a unique perspective to the ADD Sales force. In our ongoing series of profiles of sales personnel, here’s what he has to say about his experience and approach.
“Since graduating Kutztown University with a double major in Marketing and Business Management, I have held a variety of sales jobs, from selling auto insurance to municipal bonds. I settled in at ADD Systems just over four years ago and cover the New York Metro Region of Northern New Jersey, Eastern New York, and Connecticut. The region is an important one for ADD Systems as some of our oldest and dearest customers are located close to the home office.
Being able to leverage the selling skills I developed was instrumental in landing the position at ADD Systems. Being married to the owner’s daughter has its privileges but also comes with some big expectations. When you work in the family’s business you can’t leave it at the office and many people will expect more from you, as it should be. My initial concerns were soon changed to excitement when I realized the full extent of the opportunity working at the company my father-in-law Bruce has built. I realized early on that everyone at ADD Systems was part of the family, even if you weren’t related.
I live with my wife Ally close to the office in Flanders and have a son and two daughters. I am involved in the community, coaching soccer and T-ball. As a Regional Sales Representative, I enjoy meeting with customers, prospects, vendors. It has given me the opportunity to see parts of the region that are new to me, including a few golf courses. Providing a portfolio of products that I believe in and customers value is exciting. It is great to be part of a company that offers opportunities for customers to run their business more efficiently and effectively. I am honored to call ADD Systems home and look forward to seeing you in my travels!”
