This brings us the ability to reach our customers with the richness of an in-person meeting, but without the trip to the airport. Videoconferencing opens up tremendous opportunities for real-time training, support, upgrade planning, sales meetings, and other gatherings we haven’t explored yet. These systems use unobtrusive video cameras, centrally located microphones, and large screens to provide the benefits of face-to-face meetings. This can work for groups or person-to-person.
For customers equipped with similar equipment, meetings can be two-way, while those with an Internet connection can take part in one-way transmissions.
We’re hardly the first to use videoconferencing, but this is just one more way we’re adapting to serve you better. We look forward to seeing you, and you seeing us.
