ADD eServer

ADD Systems has steadily grown the functionality that lets your company exchange information and documents with your vendors, customers and employees without using a drop of ink, sheet of paper, or penny of postage. We have collected this ever-growing list of capabilities under the product names ADD eServer and ADD eCommerce.

The ADD eCommerce product covers any ability to exchange invoices and other data between E3 and your vendors and customers. For example, some ADD eCommerce functionality allows you to receive invoices from your fuel or service parts vendors electronically. Another way to leverage eCommerce is to use its ability to retrieve prices from your vendors, or let you load prices for your customers. ADD eStore uses Commerce for EDI invoices and pricebook updates. More is on the way.

ADD eServer, formerly considered part of SmartConnect®, now stands as an independent product primarily designed to use e-mail (or fax) to deliver documents to your customers and/or provide reminders to your employees. Document Push, new with ADD Energy E3® 10.01.00, lets you e-mail statements, all types of invoices, delivery tickets, Raven® invoices (including signature capture) and other documents to customers in several formats including:

  • Microsoft Word
  • Adobe PDF
  • HTML
  • Rich text
  • Plain text

The customer will receive the same document you see in the E3 Document Viewer, with your choice of background, logo, etc. ADD eServer runs in the background and “wakes up” at an interval you set to see if there are any documents that need to be sent.

Automated Resource Follow-up has been part of E3 for several years. Now you can use the ADD eServer application to set the frequency with which e-mails are sent to the follow-up resource on Customer Log entries. This is governed by the follow-up due date and offers endless possibilities for keeping your staff informed of what is urgent at any given time.

The future for both ADD eServer and ADD eCommerce will see additional integration between the E3 system and your employees, vendors, partners and customers. All of these features are designed to save you time and money by automation; something that every progressive company needs to consider in the current economic environment.
