Support and Training  
 
At ADD Systems we know how important support and training can be. In fact we view support as part of our product line.

Since our inception in 1973 ADD Systems has cultivated a fine reputation in this area.

When Training Begins
With ADD Systems, your training and support begin, in a very real sense, even before you’ve purchased our system. Because all customers are not alike, each prospect receives
a Site Survey performed by one our consultative sales professionals.

We will not simply “take an order” for a system from someone who doesn’t understand
what they’re buying. Instead, we use the Site Survey to help the Sales Department understand your company and identify your needs. That way we can recommend the software and hardware that truly best for you.

On-Site Seasoned Consultants
The information gained during the Consultative Sales process is forwarded to our Installations Group. These seasoned professionals will assist in the implementation of software and train your staff, design and oversee any data conversions, and consult
with you regarding basic business and system practices.

Make special note of the fact that ADD Systems trainers are industry specialists.
Our trainers are not “computer people” who relate only to machines…they are business people who relate to you. These field trainers have all worked in or with the industries
we service, often in supervisory and/or management positions. In every respect they
do much more than just show you how to use our software. They will lead you into the
most effective use of our system.

Your initial system training will be conducted on-site, at your location, unless there are reasons why an alternative approach makes more sense. Although we prefer the intimacy and effectiveness of on-site, one-on-one instruction, we have also conducted centralized training classes followed by on-site individualized sessions. We will structure the training schedule and approach to meet your needs.

We Know How to Train
Your initial training will be conducted the way professional educators agree is best,
by time-release, not crammed. We allocate training time in terms of hours not days.
For example, in our book 40 hours of training is not 5 days.

You may use your allocated hours when and as you please.

The experience of training and installing over 3000 sites has shown us that you would not want a trainer under foot eight hours a day for five straight days. That kind of training is really
just cramming, like studying the day before the final exam. By taking the hours approach, we give you ultimate control over your training schedule.

Because of this flexibility, we find the initial training process typically spans several weeks
of calendar time. Over the years, this has proven to be the most productive, satisfactory approach.

In some cases, for companies that have several offices or many employees to be
trained, we offer a Train-the-Trainers program. We teach your employees to be training consultants for your own organization.

“Immediate Access" Customer Support

Our Customer Support is based on the theory of “Immediate Access” whenever possible. When calling ADD System with questions, you will be connected directly to Customer Service. This department of highly skilled employees has the latest network
communications facilities at their disposal so that they can connect to any computer
in our office or in the field. By connecting directly to your system, Customer Service
can pin point problems quickly, and if necessary, send files and programs immediately
to your system.

Ongoing Education: On-Site Visits and Seminars
No matter how much you learn during your initial training visits, as time goes by, you
will want to know more. Whether to implement previously unused features, or to enhance your knowledge and use of software already in place, ADD Systems gives you plenty of training options.
   
  On-Site Visits
  ADD Systems offers on-site visits, at your request, from our experienced field trainers. These visits provide in-depth, one-on-one training focused exclusively
on the needs of your organization.

Whether enriching your current understanding, or installing brand new software features, ADD Systems field trainers bring considerable, expertise to the table. Because of that, such training takes on the nature of a consultation in which
the goal is the most efficient way to run your business in conjunction with the
ADD System.
   
  Seminars
  In addition to on-site visits, ADD Systems provides Seminars encompassing an extensive curriculum designed to educate beginners and experienced users alike.
We hold these classes at our facility in Flanders, New Jersey and also in the field, even at your office if appropriate. Regardless of where you attend, you will benefit from a professional learning environment, hands-on training, and an opportunity
to exchange ideas with other users of our software.

As classroom training, the curriculum of each seminar tends to span the broad
range of options and applications available in the software. Frequently, experienced users return from seminars determined to take advantage of previously unused software features.
   
Webinars
A webinar is an interactive session that occurs at a pre-arranged web site over the
Internet. No travel is necessary in order to participate. You can take part in a webinars
from your desk as long as you have access to the Internet. As travel and training
budgets are cut & reduced, webinars are an effective way to offer an alternative method
for learning. Most of our webinars are scheduled for approximately 2 – 3 hours. Our instructors have an established track record of training effectiveness, professionalism
and expertise.

Professional Documentation

ADD Systems provides comprehensive documentation, organized to match our menu structure so you can quickly and intuitively find the information you need. We have also layered the manuals, so that you only need to read down to the level appropriate for your responsibilities. That means executives may only need to read manual overviews, while managers may read chapters introductions, and operators can find the details they need
in specific program documentation. Professionally written and actively maintained by our staff of technical writers, these user guides play a key role in the support offered by ADD Systems.

Single-Point Total Service
Although our hardware vendors boast some of the most extensive service organizations
in the world, ADD Systems is in a much better position to diagnose a problem with your system as being either software or hardware related. If we determine a problem is
hardware oriented, we will tell you what to say when you call your hardware vendor.
With ADD Systems you never have to face the infamous “finger pointing” that occurs
when software and hardware vendors have problems.

Disaster Recovery
When it comes to disaster recovery, ADD Systems is simply the best. Our hardware
experts will be on site as soon as possible, and have you up and running in days. We
can also offer our on-line system as backup in the event of disaster. With a tape of your data loaded onto our computer, you can be back in operation in no time while you wait
for replacement equipment. Whether coping with fire, flood or some other disaster you
can be sure ADD Systems will find the quickest way to restore your system.

Continued Software Upgrades
Perhaps the final chapter in a well-rounded support program is software upgrades. The
Auto Software Upgrade program ensures that your system has the most recently released versions of the ADD Systems software.

Our software is never stagnant. Through Customer Based Research, customer feedback, new customers and general industry exposure we set our research and development priorities. New features and enhancements are released regularly. All releases are
subjected to extensive Quality Control testing using an automated Test Manager System, and by pre-site beta testing.
