Sales Representative

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated Sales Representative to sell our software products and services. The ideal candidate brings:

  • 5-year+ successful track record exceeding revenue goals in large-ticket business software sales, especially in the areas of Business Intelligence solutions, application development software, reporting tools, and back office store software
  • Extensive B2B sales experience in sales to the convenience store industry
  • A College Degree preferably in a business and/or technical discipline
  • Strong communication, and effective presentation, time management and organization skills
  • Experience and the ability to deal with all levels of management in large organizations (from middle management to “C” level.)
  • The ability to understand how to pragmatically apply technical solutions to solve business problems complete with return on investment (ROI) analysis
  • Experience in dealing with complex procurement processes from identifying an opportunity through qualification of the opportunity, to closing and negotiating final terms and conditions
  • The ability to maintain a high sales call activity, and strong telephone prospecting, partnering and marketing skills
  • The high energy of a self-starter, coupled with an excellent knowledge of the industry marketplace and business drivers
  • Ability to work well under pressure, execute results against strategy and meet critical deadlines

Inside Sales Representative

Job Description:

In this role you will be responsible for supporting sales team member activities in assigned accounts or regions. You will assist in the development, quality, and consistency of the company’s sales message.  You will serve as customer liaison by working with sales team members to support field activities, follow up on customer issues and opportunities in the selling of ADD Systems software.

This is an entry level position that will have you working with all departments within the company to provide a strong foundation of products, concepts and deliverables and may lead to advancement within the sales group.

Primary Responsibilities

1. Assist the Sales Manager in monthly and annual territory analyses.
2. Assist the sales team in the presentation and sales of company products and services to current and potential clients.
3. Assist the sales team in gaining competitive product knowledge
4. Follow up on new leads and referrals resulting from field activity.
5. Identify sales prospects and contact these and other accounts as assigned.
6. Prepare presentations, proposals and sales contracts.
7. Develop and maintain sales materials and current product knowledge.
8. Establish and maintain current client and potential client relationships.
9. Prepare a variety of status reports, including activity, closings, follow-up, and updates.
10. Maintain up to date records via company CRM tools.
11. Communicate new product and service opportunities, special developments, information, or feedback gathered through field activity to appropriate company staff.
12. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
13. Make outbound phone calls / emails and other prospecting efforts to support outside sales team.
14. Other duties as assigned.

Additional Responsibilities

1. Participate in marketing events such as seminars, trade shows, and telemarketing events.
2. Work with inside team to coordinate shipping schedules and delivery of merchandise and services.

Knowledge and Skill Requirements

1. Ability to work independently and accomplish assigned tasks

Software Support Representative

Job Description:

ADD Systems is looking for a candidate that has excellent interpersonal skills with both customers and other employees.  The candidate must excel at working in a team environment.  Job responsibilities would include daily support on Help Desk, completion or progression of assigned work orders in a timely manner, recording daily time card entries for billing purposes, documentation support, availability for intermittent after hours support and occasional limited travel.   Candidate must be willing to work out of NJ office.

Responsibilities:

  • Assigned help desk time
    • Obtain required information from customer,
    • Enter information into our Customer Relationship Management System
    • Use GoToAssist to gather additional information as necessary
    • Close calls that are answered on initial intake
    • Assign calls that are not answered on initial intake
    • Handle status calls regarding open work orders
  • Thoroughly research and understand work order requests
    • Attempt to duplicate customer’s condition
    • Reach out for help from checklist or key individuals within the company
    • Monitor mentor queue and review documentation
    • Frequent customer contact regarding progress
    • Update/Close CRM calls on regular basis
  • Submit time cards on a daily basis
  • Assigned cell phone support on a rotating basis including evenings, weekends & holidays
  • Review and edit any new documentation, while assisting to keep existing documents up to date
  • Limited travel may be required depending on assignment, day  trips or overnight trips possible
  • Occasional backup to other departments that may include: receptionist, shipping support, data conversion support, program testing or upgrades/refreshes

Microsoft BI Data Analyst\Database Developer

Responsibilities:

  • Capture requirements and translate them into design documents that lead to the delivery of reports and dashboards.
  • Create data warehouse tables and ETL packages using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)
  • Create reports and dashboards using SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)
  • Troubleshoot data anomalies and suggest/execute corrective actions
  • Ensure adherence to architecture standards
  • Some travel might be required to meet with clients to refine reporting requirements

Qualifications:

  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills
  • Very good project management skills
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to pay close attention to details
  • Expert knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server/TSQL  scripting
  • Good knowledge of SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)
  • Good knowledge of SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)
  • Exposure to SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS)
  • Exposure to Microsoft Visual Studio, Team Foundation Server & .Net languages is a plus
  • Bachelor degree or equivalent preferred
  • Experience in the Retail or Energy industry is plus
