Our ADD Cares initiative started at the beginning of 2022 to highlight the charities and programs we support during the year. With the holidays upon us, we are involved with several programs meaningfully giving back to our communities. As a company with a continental footprint, we understand the opportunity to support many types of groups throughout Canada and the United States. From participating in local food drives to donating to large national programs, we hope to make a positive impact by giving back to people in need.
Pajama Program
This is our thirteenth year supporting the Pajama Program. This organization aims to help children in need establish a restful bedtime routine that provides healthy sleep. Children living in low-income households, facing housing insecurities, or experiencing family instabilities can all benefit from the Pajama Program. Our company has reached higher donation goals every year, so we hope to continue that trend. We will be collecting PJs and books and hosting a raffle to raise money for the program. We started this year’s pajama initiative on November 28, 2022, and will continue until January 20, 2023.
Mount Olive Food Pantry
As an organization in the backyard of our New Jersey location, the Mount Olive Food Pantry enriches our community by collecting food items, gift cards, and money to obtain meat, dairy, and fresh produce for those in need. This year, we donated $2,790.00 to the pantry.
Kurling for Kids
Our Canadian ADD employees participate in Kurling for Kids, an organization that raises money for children at two Montreal hospitals: Hospital Ste Justine and the Montreal Children’s Hospital. Our Canadian employees are proud to announce that Kurling for Kids has raised $295,000 so far in 2022! With December left in 2023, there are hopes to hit $300,000 before the end of the year.
