We would like to announce that Tom Henderson, Vice President of User Documentation, Quality Assurance & Knowledge Management has retired after 34 years with ADD Systems.
Tom began working for ADD when he was hired to produce user documentation as part of the team dedicated to a new client, Suburban Propane. In the years since, Tom has taken on and excelled in every role he has ever had. Whether writing user documentation, giving seminars, doing BTC presentations, marketing materials, websites, or software design, Tom did it all. Tom not only understood our software products — he was also able to translate that knowledge into materials that others could use. His presentation style was not only entertaining, but also endearing to the audience. Everyone walked away from Tom’s presentations having learned something of value, and they enjoyed the experience.
Tom will be remembered as a dedicated, hardworking employee whose contributions to ADD have been immeasurable. Tom was always willing to do what was necessary to get the job done. In his latest role as VP of Quality Assurance, User Documentation, and Knowledge Management, Tom and his team have enabled ADD to deliver the highest quality products and documentation to our customers. His leadership leaves a team with great skills, experience, and independence.
