ADD Systems hosted its largest Business Tech Conference ever this May. The 2026 BTC featured over 600 attendees and nearly 100 companies. With an exhibit hall full of 24 ADD partners, along with 40 sessions and incredible networking events, it was full of opportunities to learn, connect, and have fun. We’ve consistently grown our attendance, and this year was no different. We held the event for a second time at Disney’s beautiful Yacht and Beach Club Resorts, but moved on to the largest of their ballrooms to accommodate our numbers. It was a week filled with networking, sharing best practices, learning about the latest ADD software, meeting with exhibitors, and fun for the whole family.
The event started off with ADD Systems President Bruce C. Bott kicking off the event with an exciting preview of what was to come: numerous software enhancements, a glimpse into development direction, and an invitation to learn and network. Our Diamond, Platinum, and Gold sponsors, and our exhibitors attending the BTC were also recognized. Lastly, Bruce gave a quick glimpse of the types of sessions clients could expect during the week, and then the sessions began! Information was flowing, connections were being made, and there was an audible hum with all the excitement.
Informative Sessions
Tuesday through Thursday brought informative sessions, Q & A discussions, customer panels, sponsor presentations, ADD User Group (AUG) meetings, and more. The sessions covered all ADD products.
The ADD User Group and Networking
The ADD User Group held its annual meetings during the BTC. Many clients who had not yet joined the AUG got to hear the benefits, including collaboration with their peers, best practices for ADD software, and being an integral part of ADD product development. All BTC attendees got time to network at sessions, lunches, and evening events. It was clear that supportive communities brought together with a common goal help improve overall business operations and ADD software.
Social Evening Events
With days full of learning, networking, and professional collaboration, we knew it would be important to unwind during the night with both fun and relaxing activities! Attendees and their families were treated to beachside dinners, exclusive access to Disney theme park rides, and more! Here is a breakdown of BTC evening events:
Welcome Reception at Shipwreck Beach: Attendees and their families got to relax by the water and enjoy a delicious buffet. It was the perfect night for attendees and ADD employees to relax, have a couple of drinks, and network with others.
Thursday Night: Attendees saved their energy up for a culminating event that couldn’t be beat! A decked-out dinner in the Convention Center, followed by an out-of-this-world dessert party in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge! It was not-to-be-missed as we had private access to Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run and Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance! What better way to end an information & action-packed week than piloting a spaceship or jumping into the middle of a battle between the Resistance and the First Order? With great food, drinks, and entertainment, it was a celebration not to be missed.
Hear What Clients Have to Say about the BTC
At the BTC, I had the opportunity to learn, contribute, and collaborate with industry peers, strengthening Valiant Energy’s commitment to operational excellence and continuous improvement.
- Maria Espinosa, Logistics Manager, Valiant Home & Energy
Attending the BTC was an incredibly valuable experience — inspiring, energizing, and full of meaningful connections. I left feeling motivated and grateful to be part of such a supportive and forward-thinking community.
- Erin Dunican, Director of Heating Fuels & Commercial Fuels, Sandri Energy
I always find the end of the sessions the most valuable, where users are interacting with the developers and learning from each other (and other users). I also enjoy seeing people that I’ve worked with in the past and continuing relationships.
- Chris Kauffman, President, Kauffman Gas
The BTC offers great value in different ways. One of the biggest benefits is the opportunity to network with other clients and learn from their experiences. It creates a great environment for sharing ideas, discussing challenges, and building relationships with others in the industry.
