As part of ADD Systems’ 45th Anniversary celebrations, we’re making an effort to step up our charitable activities in 2018. As a result, we’ve selected a few local charities to support. One charity local to our Flanders headquarters is Eleventh Hour Rescue, an animal rescue in Morris County, NJ, whose goal is to “rescue dogs and cats at their Eleventh Hour – when they are scheduled to be put down by shelters that can no longer care for them. We give them all the medical attention they require, a place to live, and through our adoption services, a second chance at a happy and fulfilled life.”
Back in March, ADD Systems was a sponsor of Eleventh Hour Rescue’s charity event at Top Golf. The event was able to raise $2,926, which was used to provide medical care for animals in the shelter.
- Two animals were spayed and neutered before they were adopted out.
- Oliver received surgery to remove a cyst over his eye, along with dental work.
- Pantha received medical testing and x-rays, and follow up treatments.
- David, who was found as a stray, received extensive dental work for teeth and gum issues.
All of these animals are doing well, and are currently available for adoption!
ADD Systems’ Roger Keyser, Treasurer of Eleventh Hour Rescue, explained, “If you visit Oliver’s page and scroll down, you can see a number of pictures of him, including some from the shelter we rescued him from a while ago. He was very emaciated back then, but has made tremendous improvements since then, as the newer pictures show!”
We’re proud to support Eleventh Hour Rescue in their mission to rescue animals and give them a second chance. As they say on their website, “We cannot stop. We will not stop, until all of the cages are empty.”
