The team got back from the NACS Show this month, and it was a blast! We were happy to show off our convenience store software and connect with new and familiar faces. The show was filled with great sessions, focusing on a variety of topics, workshops, and case studies, including:
- Data Strategy for All Retailers: While data is useful for bigger retailers, it can be just as invaluable for smaller retailers, too. There were tips and tricks on not just reading your data, but knowing what to do with it to help your store run more efficiently than before.
- Gen X Is the Big Spender: It’s important for c-stores to stay on top of the younger generations, but Gen X is driving the most consumer spending. With Gen X being in the prime of their careers, it makes sense that they would have the most disposable income of all the generations, so understanding and targeting them should be a key part of your strategic plan.
- State of the Industry Updates: Having a measuring stick always helps you know where you stand among industry peers, and a key benefit of NACS is the benchmarking information they gather in their State of the Industry (SOI) report. This data-filled session focused on the industry’s 2024 financial performance, operational trends, and market positioning, with advice on how to grow moving forward.
- Inventory Management with Data: Software can help streamline operations, control costs, and optimize inventory management. Through case studies, this session shared technology-enabled strategies that can drive product availability, elevate customer experiences, and increase profitability.
These listed sessions just scratch the surface of the useful information shared at the NACS Show this year. Besides educational sessions about data and technology, topics about foodservice, fuel, suppliers, marketing, and operations were also covered.
Hear what John Coyle, Vice President of Sales at ADD Systems, had to say about the 2025 NACS Show:
“It’s hard to believe that another great NACS show is in the books, but wow, what a show NACS 2025 was for ADD Systems. I look forward to the NACS Show every year, and this one did not disappoint. The close of the NACS Show means I got another opportunity to spend time with our amazing customers, I got to meet a number of new prospects who are exploring new back office software options, and I got to connect with our industry partners to learn what’s new in their world and how we can help our mutual customers reach higher levels of efficiency and profitability. And let’s not forget, we get to see and sample the newest industry offerings, all competing to be the next must-have item within the convenience store marketplace. My vote for the next must-have item was the latest from Spylt and their high-protein milk flavors; the strawberry is absolutely delicious.”
We hope to see you at the NACS Show in 2026!
