ADD users came together for the ADD User Group Annual Meeting! This was an opportunity to get a window into committee activities and goals, hear from ADD about how AUG ideas have influenced product development, and see how ADD users are an invaluable part of our development. The meeting kicked off with a welcome dinner the evening before that was complemented by lots of conversation, good food, and sports impact screen games. The next day was the core of the meeting and consisted of four parts: an introduction to the AUG and committee chair reports; AUG enhancement requests status view and product roadmap update; ADD Energy E360 update; and an Atlas for E3/E360 update.
AUG Annual Meeting 2024
The meeting started off with a brief introduction of the ADD User Group’s overall vision. Megan Carr, Director of Field Ops Support Team at Paraco Gas, and Justin Bolus, Wholesale Fuel Director at Bumgarner Oil, President and Vice President of the AUG, highlighted AUG membership benefits and then invited AUG committee chairs to share an overview of their activities and goals for 2024-2025. This section concluded with Stella Murray, Senior Analyst – Business Systems at Suburban Propane and AUG Enhancement Prioritization Chair, explaining the submission and voting process for new software enhancements, one of the key benefits of AUG membership.
AUG Enhancements & Product Roadmap Update 2024
This part of the meeting further focused on the enhancement submission process. Rob Culbertson, Senior Vice President and COO at ADD Systems, overviewed the enhancement voting results from 2023. He then took the group through all the AUG enhancements progress that has been made over the last year. From simple enhancements like increasing the size of a notes field to more advanced changes like Time & Materials billing on Pegasus Mobile, the announcements were received with anticipation and excitement. Rob ended the session with a peek at some of the enhancements in the pipeline and on the product roadmap for 2024 and 2025.
AUG ADD Energy E360 Overview Breakout Session
Kathy McKee, Account Specialist at ADD Systems, gave an overview of ADD Energy E360, our browser-based ERP software for petroleum distribution companies. Constant development is happening with E360, so Kathy highlighted the latest benefits and features, as well as its customization ability. She also answered any questions AUG members may have had about E360.
AUG Atlas Reporting for E3 & E360 Breakout Session
To close the AUG Annual Meeting, Chris Kiernan and Bryan Walline, ADD’s Director of Operations of Retail/Wholesale and Lead Developer for Business Intelligence, respectively, gave an overview of how Atlas Reporting can be used for ADD Energy E360/E3. They showcased some of the best reports for actionable business data. Among other benefits, they also displayed some Atlas dashboards that help ADD users visualize data and stay on top of their KPIs.
