You’ve heard a lot from us lately about the ADD User Group (AUG). That’s because here at ADD Systems, it is invaluable to us. As an integral contributor to the ADD ecosystem, the committees and individuals of the AUG demonstrate active participation in directing product development and proactively provide assistance to fellow users.
We’ve heard from you: I want to get involved, but…what committee is for me?
To help find your fit, here’s a sneak peek into each committee:
1. Leadership Team
Chair: Phil LaRochelle, Dead River Company
The chair of each AUG Committee is a member of the Leadership Committee. This group coordinates, oversees, sets policy and serves as a liaison between the AUG and ADD Systems.
2. Best Practices & User Education Committee
Chair: Sarah Crowley, Dead River Company
This committee supports user education through monthly Best Practices calls, training materials development and organization of training opportunities with ADD.
3. Enhancement & Prioritization Committee
Chair: Stella Murray, Suburban Propane
This committee is responsible for management of the software enhancement and prioritization process by gathering enhancement requests, organizing voting, and sharing results with ADD.
4. Design & Review Committee
Chair: Tom Rymes, Rymes Propane & Oil
The objective of the Design & Review Committee is to assist in the design process of enhancements to the ADD Energy E3 family of products, including conceptual design and detail design.
5. Business Intelligence & Reporting Committee
Chair: Megan Carr, Paraco
The BI & Reporting Committee reviews reporting tools, shares best practices and offers support through educational opportunities. The committee also develops, reviews and votes on BI and reporting enhancement ideas.
6. SmartConnect & 3rd Party Software Integration Committee
Chair: Bob Dunn, Dead River Company
This committee facilitates sharing experiences with SmartConnect as well as use cases. The committee also develops, reviews and votes on SmartConnect enhancement ideas.
7. Technical Performance & Support Committee
Chair: Melissa Spahr, Dead River Company
This committee shares best practices and experiences with security, hardware, backups and other IT-related topics. The committee also develops, reviews and votes on technical enhancement ideas.
8. Raven/Delivery Committee
Chair: Scott Campbell, Suburban Propane
This committee is responsible for reviewing logistics and enhancements regarding Raven and Delivery. In addition, they share best practices to aid in optimization of ADD delivery products. The committee also develops, reviews and votes on Raven & delivery enhancement ideas.
9. Membership Committee
Chair: Rachelle Donovan, Irving Oil
This committee recruits new members and provides those members with a welcome package as they join. This committee also keeps track of all AUG membership and ensures the regular review of policy by the AUG Leadership Team.
10. Pegasus/Service Committee
Chair: Leslie Pearson, Paraco
This committee reviews all service functionality, including both back office and Pegasus. The group shares best practices to look for points of improvement. The committee also develops, reviews and votes on Pegasus and service enhancement ideas.
11. Wholesale/eLoadTrack Committee
Chair: Jo Ann Moonen, Rahn’s Oil & Propane
The Wholesale Committee is responsible for reviewing all aspects of wholesale operations for both petroleum and propane as configured and processed via ADD Energy E3, eLoadTrack, eCommerce, and the eTax module. The committee also develops, reviews and votes on wholesale enhancement ideas.
12. Upgrades Committee

The Upgrades Committee provides guidance and best practices for the upgrade process to help users transition smoothly from one version to the next.
