October 7 was National Propane Day, a time to recognize the hard work and commitment of those in the propane industry. Propane plays a crucial role in keeping homes warm and businesses running smoothly around the clock. The day highlights the efforts of various professionals, from drivers who manage delivery routes to dispatchers who organize these deliveries and customer service representatives who handle inquiries. Each of these roles is important in ensuring propane reaches their local communities. We’re grateful to help serve the many companies that ensure their customers stay comfortable, operational, and safe, all with efficiency and professionalism.
“Propane marketers ensure a steady supply of propane to their customers to enable heating, cooking, and many other needs,” ADD Systems COO & Senior VP Rob Culbertson said. “This is done with safety as a priority. The industry’s ever-changing landscape with the promotion of greener energy sources including renewable propane are initiatives to support a healthier and cleaner environment.”
Culbertson recognized the greater purpose of those involved in propane, highlighting the collectivist approach and numerous ways the industry helps many.
“The propane industry has been and continues to be an industry that gives back to the communities they serve. Companies both large and local are heavily involved in supporting national and local charities, helping others in disaster areas, supporting hospitals, and many local causes.”
Bruce C. Bott, President of ADD Systems and State Director for the NJ Propane Gas Association, echoed Culbertson’s sentiments.
“ADD Systems’ propane clients stretch across the US from coast to coast and their contributions are significant, including bringing essential services like cooking and heating, crop drying, transportation, and power generation to everyone,” ADD Systems President Bruce Bott said. “This source of energy is a clean and environmentally friendly ‘energy for everyone.’ I’m humbled by just how important it is to continue to spread the word about the wonderful choice propane gives consumers.”
