Our Implementation Department, in particular, continues to grow with the addition of talented individuals who build important client connections. We value people who bring new ideas and skills, ensuring our clients make the most of their ADD software. Among these new team members is Christian Phelps, an Implementation Specialist dedicated to helping businesses succeed.

Describe your new role at ADD Systems
As a Wholesale Implementation Specialist, we are tasked with working with the customer to set up and deliver our E360/E3 software. Broken down further, this includes confirming the scope of the project, creating a project plan that we will use to configure our E360/E3 software with the customer, training the customer on the proper processes to fully utilize E360/E3 in their business operations, and assist them in taking E360/E3 live.
Where are you originally from?
Charlotte, North Carolina.
What types of projects are you working on?
Currently, I am assisting team members in the setup and implementation of our E360/E3 product with several of our new customers.
What is your favorite part of your job so far?
Navigating through scenarios our customers present from their current business operations and finding resolutions in how our software can serve them best.
What are you most excited to learn about in the industry?
The industry of our customers that we serve is exciting to learn about, coming from outside of the industry. Learning how the industry is evolving adds depth to this learning experience as well.
Why are you drawn to your new role? Otherwise, how does your role serve a deeper meaning for you?
I love everything that ADD Systems stands for and feel that we are providing a real, tangible benefit to our customers – many of whom are family-owned/operated businesses.
What three words would you use to describe yourself?
Gregarious, eager, and analytical.
What are some of your favorite hobbies?
Shooting sports, fishing, and riding my motorcycle.
What is a good piece of advice to follow?
The “uncomfortable” is where growth lives.
Be curious about everything.
Who, professionally and personally, has made the biggest impact on you?
Cliché or not, I would say my father. I have been blessed to gain wisdom from his trials and successes growing up.
What is a surprising aspect about you people might not expect?
I played sports throughout high school, I was also in my high school’s band. In 2000, we had the opportunity to perform at the World’s Fair in Hanover, Germany.
In a previous life, I worked in the senior healthcare industry, working in business operations and in community outreach hosting events providing awareness to navigating the costs of senior healthcare and awareness of dementia.
What is the most important core value a company can have?
Integrity; doing what is right, the right way.
