With 2023 finally here, now is the perfect time to re-evaluate your customer needs with regard to system-generated forms. Over the last decade, many companies have focused on adopting and sending out electronic forms such as invoices and statements. However, there is likely still a ton of opportunity to enhance the printed output in 2023 because few companies have been able to achieve a one-hundred percent adoption rate. If you haven’t reviewed your printed output, then that’s where we can help. We offer many print products and expertise that can help your business run more smoothly and efficiently, including Raven delivery tickets or invoices, two-part shift reports, checks, statement forms, clear polyethylene bags, thermal rolls, envelopes, tax forms, and more.
Custom Print Products for Your Business
While our print products serve a practical purpose, they can also be used as a source of advertising. Our customers can unify their brand identity by adding their logo, address, slogan, and more to their print products.
“Of course, we always keep generic forms on hand for any last-minute emergencies our clients may have, but typically all our clients want to customize their printed materials,” Print Account Manager Brian Kelly said. “Raven invoices, for example, are a huge marketing opportunity. Clients even put their mission statements on them.”
Customers can get the most out of their print products by adding advertising and state-required warnings. You can fully utilize your print products by using the material’s front and back sides. Many customers will include advertising on the front while adding state-required warnings on the back of thermal rolls, tickets, and more. We have the expertise to handle specific customizations and have created many print products for unique needs.
“We provide the necessary forms that are required to run a business,” VP of Sales John Coyle said. “With good planning and working with Brian, we have an opportunity to not just provide the basics but rather provide good advertising because when you’re adding a marketing message to your company statements, that’s advertising.”
Our print products align with our software by increasing productivity and efficiency. Raven, our end-to-end fuel delivery solution, provides the option of printing onsite invoices matched with email and text alerts of the delivery, which can automate office processes to eliminate time-consuming paperwork and calls to the office.
“I went to a new customer’s site. They were doing things the old way,” Kelly said. “They had a stack of delivery receipts that they go through each night to create the invoices. They were there until 8, 9 o’clock every night, handwriting everything. You don’t have to do it like that anymore,” Kelly said.
With the latest software in the home office and the field, all that can be automated, and a fully branded invoice can be left at a customer location or printed from the back office. It’s a great marketing opportunity.
Print Products for Direct Mail Marketing
If you’re a small-to-medium-sized business that doesn’t have a marketing department, leveraging print material to extend your marketing efforts can be a way to help. You can send additional marketing material when you mail statements to your customers. Postcards with QR codes, print material with social media handles, and products that showcase any company initiatives are just a few ways to use print advertisements.
“We have the Customer Communication module,” Coyle said. “We added this feature to email and text out of the back office, but we could also print traditional marketing messages for mailings. To some degree, we all get less print material today because everybody’s moved to digital. The balance of print versus email is changing. I actually take the time to read more physical mail today. How much mailing do you do? Because along with their statements, clients can be enclosing additional marketing material.”
Besides adding QR codes and social media handles to your print material, direct mail can be used as a brand awareness tool. Advertising essential information, like your products and services, can provide more windows of opportunity.
“There’s an assumption that your customers know what you do,” Coyle said. “We have clients that have added whole divisions to their business over the years. You have to remind your customers of your services because you can’t assume they know everything about you. We don’t want our clients to make assumptions about what their customers know about their business. Your print material is another avenue for you to advertise all you do in your business today. If your business has evolved, make sure your customers know it.”
Preparing for a Successful 2023
Ordering print products in advance can help your business year run more smoothly and worry-free. Because you can store your print products away until you need them, it never hurts to order an amount that will cover you for many months.
“Placing your orders sooner than later is the best way to prepare for 2023,” Kelly said. “Due to supply chain issues in the print industry, as well as many other industries, we are experiencing extended lead times on delivery,” Kelly said.
Whether you’re looking for specific print customization or important tax forms, our team can help you find the solutions you need. Hear what one of our clients has to say about our printing services:
“After our recent upgrade to E3, we were unsure exactly what our needs would be regarding tickets, statements, and checks,” Zackary Bilotti of Pipeline Petroleum said. “Brian and his team helped us along every step of the way to ensure we had the correct stock. We fully appreciate all the knowledge and support that Brian and his team offered and know that if we have a question or concern, they will find the answer.”
