We at ADD Systems are sad to share that Sue Gampp, a longtime ADD Systems employee, passed away this May. She was a wonderful team member and a thoughtful friend who will be greatly missed by all of us.
ADD Systems was lucky enough to have Sue since 2001, when she started her career here as a trainer in the Implementation Department. She had joined the ADD Systems family after working for NOCO Energy in Buffalo, New York, so she was well-versed in the industry and was a strong contributor right from the start.
Shortly after she joined ADD, she moved over to our newly formed Projects Group, a team created to assist our clients with large or unique projects. Sue was well-liked by ADD clients and received rave reviews for her work. Her dedication and easy-going personality made her perfect for this task, and eventually led to her becoming the manager of the Projects Group in August of 2015.
More recently Sue was instrumental in the creation of ADD’s Wholesale Group, a team focused on the implementation of ADD software for customers with wholesale petroleum divisions. She also happily took on the related role of liaison to the ADD User Group Wholesale Committee. “Sue was perfect for her new position,” shared Rob Culbertson, COO and Senior Vice President of ADD Systems. “She put the clients first and really worked to understand their needs. She was a tremendous person, manager and friend. She was professional in everything that she did.”
Bruce C. Bott, President of ADD Systems agreed. “Sue was a truly unique member of the ADD Systems family. She will be greatly missed, and her memory will live on with the co-workers and clients she touched throughout the years.”
It’s hard to know how best to honor her memory. Nothing is comparable with having her here with us each day, but as a symbol of her spirit and dedication, ADD planted a tree in her honor outside our New Jersey headquarters. As it grows, it will be a pleasant reminder of our shared time together.
