The ADD Systems User Group recommends an upgrade every two years, and strongly advises against waiting any longer than three years. If you’re a member of the ADD Systems User Group, you are welcome to solicit the input of others who have already completed a successful upgrade.

Any upgrade will be smoother with good planning. To that end we make our release notes available on our web site within the Client Portal, so you can see what’s included in whatever upgrade you choose. To make it even easier for you, whenever we publish new release notes we post a notification in the Client Portal Forum. Subscribe to that forum and you will receive automatic notification whenever new release notes are available.

We also recommend that you check out the functionality of upgraded software in test, before taking it live. To be sure, ADD Systems performs thorough automatic and manual tests on every single upgrade. But no-one knows your business like you, and for that reason no-one can verify your use of the software better than you. And while you’re checking things out, you can simultaneously be training your staff on what’s new.
