Even as phone orders and other last minute fuel delivery opportunities are raised throughout the day, the drivers’ routes are easily re-optimized, ensuring the best routes possible for maximum gallons delivered.
The dispatcher in the home office can gain some additional efficiencies as well with a customized display. No need for extraneous information to clutter up the screen or needlessly complicate decisions. You can even simplify your display more by moving your interactive map onto a monitor of its own. Some clients have even moved it to a large TV on the wall so all CSR’s can see where the trucks are in real-time and which oil or propane fuel deliveries have been made.
Still, good dispatching decisions need to consider a lot of information, and now having all that data readily available is easy, thanks to the latest enhancements on the new release! The dispatch screen is graphical which means it is simple yet detailed. A picture says a thousand words, but don’t worry, if you need more specifics you can roll over icons to get additional details. It’s all right there.
